Seccl and W2 Form Partnership Enabling Streamlined Customer Onboarding

Seccl, the Octopus-owned custodian and platform technology provider, has selected W2 as its compliance solutions provider in a streamlined approach to client onboarding.

The new partnership will see Seccl move to W2’s leading Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) solutions to enhance the customer journey whilst complying with regulatory requirements when onboarding new clients in the UK and Europe.

Seccl have also joined W2’s growing Global Partner Network on a referral basis, enabling both parties to collaborate on additional projects within the fintech eco-system.

Warren Russell, CEO & Founder of W2 commented: “We are delighted to be working with Seccl both from a client and partner perspective. Working with companies, like Seccl, who share the same ambitions towards innovating the fintech industry is something which really excites us here at W2.

Since shifting our focus away from data and more towards the technology which powers it, we have come to appreciate, more than ever, companies who aspire to use the power of tech to improve the customer experience. Having Seccl join the W2 Partner Network means we can also collaborate on more than a client to supplier relationship and look for ways we can pool our resources to continue innovating to a high standard.”

Dan Marsh, Seccl’s Head of Customer added: “AML and KYC compliance is such an essential part of the investment process – identifying risks and being able to swiftly work to mitigate them is critical. We needed a partner that offered the extensive depth of checks required, allowing us to compliantly and efficiently onboard new clients onto their Seccl-powered platforms.

At Seccl, we needed a provider that understood our needs and offered responsiveness of service no matter our size – W2 does just that. Since integrating them into the Seccl ecosystem, we’ve been impressed by their easy-to-use interface and depth of reporting, in particular. We’re huge advocates of the use of technology in driving business efficiency – and we’re delighted to partner with companies, like W2, who share that same goal.”
