Firstly, I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Rachel Rawlings and I’ve recently joined W2 as Head of Product. I’m so excited to be kicking off the new year with work already starting on ensuring our clients’ experience with W2 is the highest quality possible.
Over the past few months our engineering team has been hard at work making various UX improvements to the W2 platform and I thought now would be a great time to summarise those changes. All the changes we’re making are adding up to big improvements for our users and changing the way they perform due diligence.
Logging Into The Portal
It’s now even easier to login to the Portal. We’ve removed the terms and conditions box which needed to be clicked every time you logged in, so you can get to your account quicker.
Expand All
When looking at results for specific checks in the dashboard, there can sometimes be a lot of separate fields (name, address, etc.) that need to be investigated when performing due diligence. We’ve added functionality which allows users to expand all matches with a single click of a button, making it easier and quicker to find the information you’re looking for.
Monitoring Environment
We also decided to improve the look and feel of the Monitoring environment within the portal. We’ve made it easier to view the settings for each account and made it easy to see at a glance how many alerts there are for each account.
New Filtering Options
Instead of scrolling through all screenings to find open alerts, users can now filter by ‘all screenings,’ ‘screenings with open alerts,’ and ‘screenings with no open alerts,’ making it quicker to process your due diligence checks.
Date of Birth Results
When performing due diligence checks on individuals, there can often be multiple results, meaning it can take some time to find the person you’re looking for. Now, when viewing each result of a check made, we show the date of birth directly next to the name match, so you can significantly speed up the process of finding the right individual.
Here at W2, we’re committed to helping our clients onboard their customers efficiently, all while offering a great experience. We’re always working hard to make sure the portal is designed to get to vital information as soon as possible, and providing the tools to make informed decisions.
